After the sudden passing of their mother, the Pereira family siblings come together after more than a year of separation. The youngest, Belinda convinces the others to witness their mother's cremation. The family spends the holidays fighting over what to do with mom's ashes.。In 1919 South America, a landowner's wife is desperate for a child of her own, having suffered through multiple miscarriages.
