影片的故事发生在民国晚期的小镇回龙岗，这里与世隔绝貌似世外桃源，实则暗藏诡异让人不寒而栗，特别是镇上四大豪门的族长相继惨死，随着人们调查的深入，所有的证据都指向了小镇边缘一座恐怖的古堡，而这座古堡的守灵人还将带来更多血腥、离奇、令人窒息的怪事……。White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。
