故事是关于一名13岁的学校万人迷Calvin Wheeler，他是一本英雄漫画的超级粉丝。为了得到一本限量珍藏初版漫画，Calvin 打算参加一个冠军奖金达到五千美元的狗展比赛，于是他到附近的动物收容所领养流浪狗Tyco 参赛，这对组合在初赛的成绩一鸣惊人。前两届比赛的冠军Preston Price 恐怕受到威胁，于是设法令Calvin 在决赛中落败。Calvin 的同学兼动物收容所义工 Emily Watson 本身对狗展比赛十分反感，当她知道Calvin 领养Tyco 的目的后，对Calvin 十分失望，但Calvin 的好友Raymond Figg 告知她Calvin 在饲养 Tyco 后变得不再像以前般势利，而且有责任感，Emily 开始对他改观。当她知道 Preston 的诡计后，Emily 不但鼓励刚打算放弃比赛的Calvin 重新参赛，...。The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is an annual fashion show sponsored by Victoria's Secret, a brand of lingerie and sleepwear.
