本剧内容环绕一班电台工作人员身边发生的有趣故事。一台台长张罗咏琴 (薛家燕饰)与二台台长高宝田 (黎小田饰)向来不和。田派世侄高其义 (陈山河饰)到一台当唱片骑师，作其对付琴的间谍。三个女孩子张嘉文(谭文洁饰)，关惠之 (宝佩如饰)，刘旭明 (陈佩珊饰)同时考入电台。义暗恋文，但文却被学识丰富的电台记者高其仁 (江华饰)所吸引。关惠之又暗恋义，于是发展一段复杂有趣的办公室四角四情。此外还有�0�2很多不同性格的人物，引发不同的故事，有笑有泪，实是人生的缩影~。The ship has been stuck in the doldrums for some time, but as soon as they break free into more promising water, the wind blows up suddenly, damaging the foremast and sending the ship right back into the still water.
