本片为六十、七十年代红星田丰自导自演，兼为主题曲作词，乃尽情发挥才华之代表作，并由汪萍、宗华、谷峰等著名影星合演。故事描述戴天仇（宗华）自幼随师祖（田丰）习艺，矢志为父报仇；彼时其杀父仇人雷震天（谷峰）虎踞乾坤谷，创立日月帮，到处为非作歹。戴途遇女扮男装的吴小燕（汪萍），却突遭十几名日月帮人毒打。吴知是父亲率人找她回乾坤谷，遂求父允其把戴带返家中养伤；戴得以混入乾坤谷，乘机侦察日月帮的关隘设施……。一对朋友，一个德国人和一个俄国人，穿越时空最终来到了1941年。两位朋友被迫做出决定，并要应对他们无法想象的困难。他们的友谊能否度过难关，保罗和谢尔盖又会站在哪一边？。The second part of City Slickers begins after the death of Curly.
